Navigating vessels safely through coastal and inland waterways demands a thorough understanding of the science of ship handling and sound judgment, paired with a multi-disciplinary expertise. Riben Marine employs a wealth of real-world experience to establish optimum movements for ships, barges, and other vessel traffic for a wide range of navigation projects. We have extensive experience in determining strategic placement of range marker locations to install aids to navigation (AtoNs) and electronic aids to navigation (e-AtoNs). We also assist in defining optimal channel dimensions and traffic patterns for harbor operations and maximize utilization. Riben Marine, through its partners, can also provide moored ship motion analysis, and passing vessel analysis studies, as well as guidance for full-mission bridge testing at simulator facilities.
